We have had two meeting now since the corona virus has cancelled many gatherings, including sword shows. These meetings were well received and will continue. Below is the protocol for others looking to join in the future. Please review:
Zoom Meeting Protocol
- Be 15 min. early, as meeting will start on time
- Moderator will be announced
- Late joiners will only be added as recognized by moderator and you will be muted automatically
- Time is limited so questions should be asked by “raising hand”
- Send question to moderator thru “chat”
- Presenter will take pauses at strategic points to take questions.
- Questions may not be fielded after each page until presenter is ready
- Open discussion is scheduled in last 15 min. of meeting.Be 15 min. early, as meeting will start on time
Zoom Kantei Process:
- Kantei items will be poste 1 week ahead of time so that you may review and research
- Make sure on notebook, iPad, laptop or desktop (Phones will be difficult)
- There will be 2 kantei swords
- You will see sword oshigata, sugata and characteristics
- Two minutes will be allotted to review page
- Monitor will announce and post multiple choice answers (anonymous)
- Make selection and hit submit
- Polling results will be displayed and discussed after each sword
